Calling all FDs! Take advantage of dedicated stream at Dental Showcase this October
Dental Protection are delighted to invite all foundation dentists to join them at BDIA Dental Showcase, taking place at London’s ExCeL, 4-6 October.
In partnership with the organisers, Dental Protection and MyDentist have curated a specific programme of lectures for trainee dentists in their foundation year. Taking place in the keynote lecture theatre, topics include:

Bridging the gap from DFT to associate
- How to mitigate deskilling during your FD year
- Starting your CPD journey/managing your EPDP whilst in practice
- Managing risk in the practice
- Effective treatment planning – putting the patient first; Get one step ahead when handling complaints.
In addition, FDs will have the perfect platform to kick-start their dental career and take advantage of the FD Hub, a dedicated zone on the show floor offering career advice, training tips and insight at this critical stage in any dentist’s professional career. Experts will be on-hand throughout the show to discuss career plans and how FDs can start it off in the right direction. The Dental Protection team will be present and pleased to meet attendees.
Foundation Dentists’ Ball – Thursday 4th October
On Thursday evening FDs are being invited to dress-to-impress, and enjoy fine food, drink and music aboard the Sunborn super-yacht, moored alongside ExCeL London. This black-tie event will be an opportunity to catch up with fellow trainees, old-and-new in glamourous surroundings – an event not to be missed.
